Yes pls, from different speeds ranging from 3mph to well over 120. Then an impact test droping the pan from 25 feet all the way up to 100. Then try licking it...Did id taste just as good as the first time???ILikeMy240sx wrote:Do you want me to give you finite element analysis results on the Greddy oil pan? I can do this for lots of money.

That's a big 10-4.Morph wrote:Pretty sure the guy wants to know if any 1 has bottomed out on the pan and how it held up.
Whats your paypal...ILikeMy240sx wrote:I can do everything you have listed above. Just give me what vehicle it is on. I would need alot more information regarding the suspension to do tests at various speeds. I am assuming that the oil pan will hit something when the car goes over a bump and while coming down hits a rock on the road or something. So suspension information is critical along with vehicle info.
The dropping part not so hard as all I would need is the weight of the pan which I can get very easily.
I just need someone to pay me $100/hr to do the analysis. I will start by CAD model of the pan then figure out a realistic force that will be subjected to the pan and apply it to my FEA model (which I can get from the CAD model).
