When racing (at the track of course), do y'all switch it over to manual or do you keep it in auto?Just curious to see what others do...

I leave mine in DS mode and turn off the VDC. It shifts faster then I ever could in manual mode or with a manual for that matter.

I move it to E-shift and turn off the VDC. I like to wind the motor out a bit more than the computer does!

traction/stability control.

there should be a little button on the left side on the dash below the steering wheel. Push it and a light on the dash should come on that says VDC or VDC off.

Its good for almost 3-4 tenths of a second in the 1/4 mile.

I believe that it stands for 'Variable Driving Control'. It is Infiniti's version of traction control that keeps you from watching your tail pass you during hard acceleration in a corner. there is a little button right next to the trunk release, down on the lower left of the steering wheel on the dash.

Now, if you ask me where the trunk release is, I'm gonna come over there and

Looks like you always do better on your second pass. Did you redlight on the second pass with the VDC off? I see that your reaction time is in the minus category.

This is an awesome drag strip in Maryland

Watch out for a blue long bed single cab Hemi Ram. He has 150 hp shot of nitrous hidden in the tool box and runs in the mid 12's

No worries, Will. Just trying to keep the info straight.

I find the name to be a little bit of a mouthful.
