Guys who want to start group buys

Hey guys,

I'm not sure if everyone knows this, but, group buys have to be approved by the staff, before it is posted. I know its a pain, but its necessary that we check the background of the vendor, make sure the vendor approves the group buy, and make sure other factors pan out in the situation. I had to jump through some hoops to save Mehdi's thread from being deleted today.

Some people might remember the STILLEN/Eibach group buy poll/thread disappearing a few weeks ago. It was due to the non clearance from the staff, prior to the post. We had no information on the rogue GB.

So that no more issues occur here guys, contact one of us before creating a group buy thread. Group buy interest polls are fine, just not full on group buy threads. THANKS!

can you bring the original group buy thread back and change it to a poll. Kyle from stillen was defenetly showing interest if we could show them the numbers. Hear is the link to the thread where he just mentioned interest a few days ago.

It's always better to have these rules when money is in play. I can't imagine the staff wants any members getting ripped off (either paying too much or getting a crappy product), so they need to investigate the legitimacy of these things. I, for one, appreciate the extra effort on their part.

And when things go bad, guess who is dragged into it? The staff. We also have sponsors who help pay to keep this site running and we'd sure like to give them the opportunity first.

It definitely becomes a business when people start dropping large amounts of money on people and businesses they have never even met. We do this for the protection of everyone involved. If we don't take the right precautions, a lot of things can go really wrong , really fast. I do hope you understand. Thanks.

Ill make it a point to just banish all un-approved group buy threads... INTEREST ONLY threads may be created.. but a NICO STAFF must be running a GB thread for a transaction to take place.
