Well guys, sorry I haven't been replying or posting recently. Recently I got a promotion from job, and I will be doing consulting and business trips in the metropolitian area. That being said, I had to look business and not, how you say it "Ghetto Fabolous" with my ride since I may seldom pick up clients and drive them to our facilities or have to go off site to business meetings. Well anyway, I parted the truck (which was hell taking off all of the mods) and I purchased another discontinued infiniti :D 2004 I35 lux addition with navigation and every option infiniti could throw at me. You guys are probably wondering why i got the I35 over the G35. Well it's mainly because i like the 4 door i35 looks over the G35 4 door. Plus with all the options I got on the I35 along with 2 grand below MSRP, I would have a stripped g35 at that the price i walked out with. Furthermore, Infiniti is really aggressive towards the I35 since this is the last model year.

Anyway, I kept my system, and rims, so if anyone wants to buy Giovanna 20" rims custom drilled to fit nissans and infiniti trucks, let me know. I will still be around, but i guess looking for mods for the I35/maxima keeping it clean though. Call me infiniti loyal, this is my 4 infiniti. hehe :ylsuper

Thanks guys for all the help on mods, and nistech for the all the helpful info. See you guys around. LeeQX4

Thanks for the replys guys.

Far as the Qx4 goes, I sold them the truck with the Frankencar Intake and Exhaust. Actually the dealer is trying to do something or use my Qx4 a performance option for the Qx4s. It was funny, as soon as I told the salesmanager I was going to take off the mods, he was like "no no no, you can leave them on." I even have the OEM parts still sitting in storage. As they pulled the Qx4 back in to the inspection lot, there was already a couple buyers looking at QX4s and were looking at mine, asking when it will be ready to go on sale.

Anyway, sorry guys, exhaust and CAI is still on the truck. I still have my old Stillen CAI if anyone is interested. 100 bucks and I will ship it anywhere in the US with the rest of the K&N cleaning kit.

Lee,What type of muffler and tips did you put on? Do you remember part numbers? I have printed off the pics and will be taking them them to a local muffler guy to duplicate on my pathy. The look was hardcore, man!

JeffinSC - Hey thanks for the compliments. The exhaust was the stillen cat-back exhaust. Stillen used a huge Magnaflow muffler and 2.5 piping. Sorry, i have no part numbers, but if you call Stillen, they can probably tell you what muffler that was. The tips were maganflow resonated oval with the round edge finish. I don't know the part numbers for those neither, my install shop had them. If you want, I can call my muffler shop and ask them what the name of the tips were. let me know.

Sorry forgot to add. After looking at your pics on the other site, I took pics of the undercarriage of my truck. I almost forgot I had them. If you want to use them as reference for your muffler shop let me know. I can send them to you. It's like 4-5 pics.

Lee,I sent you a private message with my email through the pathfinderpages.com website...I did not see how to do it here. If you can find out the part numbers without too much trouble, by all means do it. Otherwise, I'll figure something else out. So the muffler was a magnaflow or stillen?

Ok I got it.

The muffler is magnaflow. Stillen used the magnaflow muffler and I guess, they had the rest of the pipes made themselves. Tomorrow i will look for the part numbers.

Well when i first did the stillen exhaust, the sound was LOUD. I am not even going to lie to you. I could bare the sound because it was my truck and I knew that if i was modding the exhaust and everything underneath was going to be bigger, that bigger means louder. My passengers on the other hand, thought my exhaust was to loud and was really annoying in the interior cabin.

PHASE 2, when I installed the two in one exhaust tip sor of like...... ( ) ( ) the exhaust got a little quieter but still was a little loud. Cabin noise stayed the same since the muffler was right underneath the rear passenger seats.

PHASE 3, was the best. When my kelleys muffler shop installed the dual pipes on to the magnaflow muffler, I WAS IMPRESSED. Since the muffler had more pipes to breathe from it kind of muffled the noise a little bit. When I came back that weekend for the resonated tips, the sound became more muted and beefy. It had sort of mean hummming sound. Nothing loud but it still let you know something was there. Stage 3 was the best. I advise you to put resonated tips on any exhaust upgrade to the qx4. When i get home this evening I will send you the pics and you can see for yourself.

Thanks for the pics. I'm gonna go by the "recommended" muffler shop next week. I'll shoot for replacing the stock muffler with a dual in and dual out config with the resonator tips that you specify from Magnaflow.
