As some of you know I just moved and I dont have internet where I live yet. So I only have it for a couple hours tonight.

Problem...My S13 took a huge s*** on me yesterday. It cranks but doesnt start. When I had it running, while idling it felt like it was going to die. I figured it was just a vacuum leak. Well as of yesterday when I hit the gas it would like sputter real bad. Finally at a stop sign 2 blocks from my house (thank god) it dies and will not start. I have checked almost everything I can think of. I checked the MAF sensor, fuel pump, fuel filter, spark in all cylinders, crank angle sensor, and the distributer cap. Everything checks out fine.

I have a KA24E Thanks

So have you checked fuel pressure while cranking? Coolant temp sensors can cause a no start, and a bad TPS can cause most of those symptoms but I'm not sure about a no start. Check them out though.

Yeah, check the coolant temp sensor, once mine went bad and made it hard to start.

Also check your fuses and fuel injector o-rings.How's your air filter?

Air filter is fine. I'll check the temp sensor and o rings in the morning. Thanks everyone!

It happened to my friends this morning with his 87' 300z as well. The first injector on the left side was saturated in fuel right underneath the FPR by time I came out to help him. I didn't even look into it. He's been neglecting an intermittent starting issue.

It must be this rain huh..What are the odds of a rainstorm coming to MD and knocking out 3 Nissans in a matter of 24 hours?

It's a bad fuel pump most likely. Why is this in Gen Chat?

Yesterday I took a look at my friends car. I figured out it was his Distributor cap and rotor. His rotor was pretty much rusted down to nothing. Here are pics.

Pull the valve cover. Takes like 5mins. There's like 8 5mm bolts.

Same kinda issue happened to me. I thought I threw a rod, but it ended up being a retaining clip that holds on the rocker arm.

Again, pull the valve cover. That could be it.

It's nice of him to link to NICO in his sig, but I'm not sure what it has to do with Audi A6s.

Your issue was a fluke, midget.
