So here's the story, ever since i put on the new turbo on my sr20 blacktop (gt28 with s15 wg) i driven it for two weeks with no issues besides running little lean of course.
So on sunday one of my friends asked me to borrow my car for half hour, at first i didnt want to but than eventually i did, making a big mistake. After one hour he comes back with my other friend and says my car stalled as he was driving and wouldn't start. I came over where the car was thinking he might of killed the battery by stalling every time he tried taking off but battery was charged and it just wont start, it turns but doesn't spark, and it backfires at times when trying to start it. So me being pissed off, towed the car home and trying to figure out what the problem is, you guys have any clues? I would really appreciate your help!

Check fuses, make sure your ecu grounds are tight, swap out your ignitor chip with a known good one, and kill your "friend".

I did check the fuses seem to be all fine, and yea ill double check on ignition and also if i have a spark. Dont ask why I let him borrow it, he said he'll pay for whatever needs to be fixed since the car was in his hands. But I just gotta find what the problem is.

Ask him to be honest about what the hell he was doing when it died, so you have a better idea of what happened. Then kill him.

Yea i told him to tell me what the hell he was doing. I know for sure he wasn't gonna try to drift it lol but he said he tried doin a burnout and tires caught traction so he stalled lol fail. But i mean i raced couple of guys on it and slid on couple turns and it was solid without any problems. I seriously can't fit in my head what he could of done. All i know i gotta get it running.

Why did you let him drive it if he cant even drive a stick shift?

He probably stalled it so many damn times and grinded so many times that your car said, f*ck this, and blew itself up

did you check for real if it had no spark or you assuming?

a motor needs 3 things to start.

1. Fuel
2. Spark
3. Compression

No i checked the fuses but haven't gotten to check for a spark. Could it be a bad coil?
