well i was leaveing the pines mall today. and while at a stop for some unknown reason he backs into me. well needless to say i got all info from him and i also got a police report. not to bad of damage it will need a paint job now even more. other then that everything is fine.

thats the problem with trucks and suv's. they are too high up to see anything, expecially a lower car like a vert. did u have the top down? if so then it woulda been even lower. i used to have a honda prelude and a dump truck damn near ran me over but luckily it just pushed my car aside. he said he didnt even see me. i'm a car guy myself, i think all trucks and suv's shoudl be banned. or at least make it illegal for all trucks and suvs to drive in the passing lanes on highways that would be awesome.

same thing happened to me the other day. some idiot in a lifted silverado was switching lanes and almost ran me over. i had to slam on the brakes to avoid gettin run over. i don't mind trucks and suvs, but i hate it when people lift them, especially since they're already high enough when they come stock.

houston has the worst drivers ever, I've been backed into hard enough by an expedition that it totaled my Infiniti M30!Some girl in an altima pulled out of a gas station and hit my rear 1/4 panel and dented it in... at first I was kinda pissed but then I realized my widebody fenders will cover it anyway. Her insurance called and said they need to get my car estimate done so maybe I'll get some extra cash out of it.

thing stupid about it was the truck wasnt even big it was a mazda b3600 or whatever their called. it was stock and what not. but i mean damn how stupid are some people? hopefully i'll get a nice chunk and be able to get the car painted. considering i got a hook up with body and paint work. i recall an incident i had about a few months back when i was in my evo i backed up a honda rice boy shoots outa no where then claims i destroyed his car while i was backing up 2 miles an hour. needless to say my insurance game him 800 bucks so im hoping for the same thing if not a little more. i tell you florida drivers are morons. and will try to cheat you or get outa something no matter what.

old thread but i couldn't agree more...florida drivers cant drive for $hit. they drive even worse than people in NY, my hometown. the other day a stupid guy in a ford econoline was getting into the same lane as I was...idiot. you have side mirrors for a reason. Then a dump truck sees me coming down the road and jumps in front of me...now my car isn't that low...he had to see me. complete morons on the road...i worry for my vert sometimes.

No the florida driver's are good. It's all the damn snowbirds down here buying homes and get a florida tag. I locked my brakes up this morning when a car from michigan pulled out in front of me. I was about 3 inches from smacking them. If I didn't replace my brakes 2 weeks ago they would of been done. My dad was behind me and was blaring on his horn in case I was doing something else. If I didn't see them pulling out there would of been no time.
