Ive gutted everything behind the front seats of my S13 coupe, EXCEPT for the part of the back seat that your back rests on, I cant figure it out. Wondering how to take that out.

Also, I have a replacement window Im trying to put in my passenger side door. They are manual windows, and Im wondering the BEST way to swap them. Im hoping theres a way to do it without having to take apart a million other things including the mechanicals to the manual windows themselves.

Any and all help is much appreciated

Jon

If you take the door panel off you should see how to put the window on without much trouble.

as for the seat....I thought there was hinges on the back of it? Take the carpet out of the back(the one connected to the back seat) and look and see what you can find.

There are two bolts on the bottom back of the seat and then two up top on the sides I think. Look in the FSM - it explains it pretty clearly.

yes, I know how to take the door panel off. I can probably set the guiness record for taking off and reattaching the door panelIve done it so many times. But its not that easy to just swap the window, go take your door panel off and see what I mean.

As far as the FSM goes, I would love to look in one, but I dont have one. Been lookin around all the auto parts stores around here for one but cant find, and cant find anywhere to DL on the internet even though Ive heard theres a version going around. Ive seen the hinges on the back side of the seat but it also appears theres a rod going through the entire bottom part of it conneting it to both sides of the car.
