i have recently gutted out my hatch & i kind of ran into a problem...under my rear seats & in the hatch i have this rubber sticky kind of material/padding & i was wondering how do u take it off?? & what it that stuff called????

I think your talking about the sound deadening material. I used a heat gun and a 2inch scraper to remove the bulk of it. Then some brake clean and rags for the final clean up. Between all that stuff and the carpet padding (jute) I was able to save about 50lbs. I have also heard of using dry ice. I'm not sure which method is easier. Try a search. Good luck

I got a dewalt heat gun from Lowes or Home Depot and this damn thing gets about 30 times hotter than a hair dryer. ditch the hair dry and go with the heat gun, you'll need it to roll the fenders anyway and of course all the heat shrink when you do the wire tuck

I have no idea. I got mine from a yard sale for $10.00 I think. I can't see them being more than $40.00 or so. Google that sh*t, and see what you come up with
