Will a 17x9 wheel with a 15mm offset fit the rear of a five-lug swapped s13? Would it stay inside the wheelwell? Or does a 27mm offset and an 8" wheel max it out?

My guess is that the 27mm offset maxes the wheelwell, which would serve my purpose.

Thanks.

repo repo...PM me with this crap man.

are you worried about it sticking out or what? a 17x9 in a 15mm offset will work fine..even on the front possibly(I wouldnt chance it) but it WILL stick out.

try a 17x9" in a 20-25mm offset, it should fit in the rear. got plenty of clearance.. the 8" with a 27 will work just fine I would wager. if that works, the 17x9 15mm will work ;) math baby, math.

17x9 +15 in the rear will rub the fender when you turn... just one more thing you gotta love about fitting wide setups on cars, both the inner clearance and the fender clearance.

17x9 +30 is close to rubbing on a S14 just FYI.

Your best bet would be to roll the rear fender a bit and get a +20-+25 offset.

Thanks guys. Kun, I've never been good with math. Barely made it through school.

Specifically, I was looking at the 5Zigens that everyone seems to love now. It may work better just to go with the 27mm 8" wide setup in the rear, probably the front too. I haven't really researched the availability of low-offset wheels for a five lug setup on an s13, but I probably will.

Is there a offset calculator out there? If you new the stock with and offset how do you calculate for bigger rims?

I'm looking at 18" rims for my s14. 8 or 8.5" in the front and 9 or 9.5" in the rear. I want them flush but still able to travel inside the fender when the suspension compresses.

I was when I signed up on NICO. That was in a past life and I'm glad it is passed. Why do you want to be a professional repossessor?
