alright now i know alot of ppl probily have done this or thought about it but im just telling you about because i got board and desided to try it and my car looks really good now..

ALRIGHT.. now then i had a can of glossy black spray paint at hand and went around my S13 wondering what i could paint (i love spray paint) so the first thing i came up with was the front grills in the front (where the day time running lights go for all you canadans) there is a screw on each side, just unscrew it, wash it off and put a good 3 coats of paint on it (letting each coat dry for 10 mins in hot weather 20 in the cold) then put a layer of clear coat on it (not really needed but it will help protect it) also my screws were rusted so i put a coat of black paint on them also.

the next thing i came to was my wiper arms.. they are kinda hard to get off but just unscrew the bolt and twist and lift it will come off. REMOVE THE BLADES! (dont wanna get the rubber painted :) )If your wiper arms are like mine where (paint chipping off) then you will want to sand it down some and then primer it. then spray on the black paint (or any color really tho i think black looks best) and let the fist layer dry just like the grill.. i did 4 coats on them because they take alot of abuse. let them dry in the sun for an hour then replace..

the OME arms were flat black.. but i tryed glossy anyways and im telling u it looks awsome. it was worth the 98cents i spent on paint and the 2 hours i spent painting them. so if your board one day as i was you should do this, it makes the car look alot better :)

i did my wiper blades flat black, and didn't go into as much work or whatever (i left them on, covered the entire hood and windshield and stuff with newspaper). i used flat black, and dont' like it much. i would like to do what you did; take them off, sand them, and put more than one coat of glossy paint on there. good idea!

Don't forget to pull your wheels and tires off and flat black rattle-can detail the wheelwells!

Put a coat of wax on the car first (don't buff it yet). That'll keep any overspray from settling on the paint.

Hey all,

After you get your car painted, use our product "5 Star shine". You'll get the same results as other high end waxes but have a much better and longer finish protection. It will save you the time of having to reapply wax to keep your paint protected.

Click on our ad on the left side near the top of this page and get the details. Be sure to use the customer discount code "vipdiscounts".-Chadhttp://www.5starshine.com'Never wax your car again"
