I'm back from paradise. Who missed me?
I just wanted to let everyone know, i'm not dead, and the last week i havent posted because i was in Costa Rica. Had a decent time, took a hand full of snapshots and i'll post them up in a little.
What'd i miss?

My family and I went on a trip to Costa Rip-off, oh I mean Costa Rica :-) We made the mistake of picking a resort in the DEAD center of a jungle. The reason it was a mistake is they jacked up the prices on EVERYTHING. Bag of Lays chips, oh ya thats 18 bucks.
It was hot as hell, bugs the size of your arm, and monkeys everywhere that won't shut up. Oh and as we take a boat out to go snorkaling one day, we get to the spot and they tell us the area has deadly sea snakes that can kill you in one bite right before we are going into the water. Also, they told us not to go outside the resort because of the eyelash pit viper which is also a super ownager. As you can see, I'm very bitter from my trip there. Hope you had a better time then I did.

You saw that scenery and had (presumably) a free ride because your family paid for it but you still had a bad time?

Hot weather and a few bug bites is a small price to pay for that natural beauty.
Costa Rica is the most expensive central american country though, followed closely by Belize. El Salvador, parts of Guatemala and Honduras are pretty cheap though. I stayed in some really nice hotels for $20 a night.
5 star hotels run $60-70

i'll admit the scenery was beautiful, but our accomidations (read: time share) were sub satisfactory. The food was one thing that i was happy about though lol. I was literally never disappointed with a meal, not only was it good enough to eat EVERY TIME, but delicious...this is ranging from $18 entrees (expensive restaraunt in town) to $2 chicken w/ rice, beans etc. on the beach (my favorite)

I was mostly in Krakow, except one day i went to Zakopane (way south by the mountains) to visit my family, and my old house and all that.
