I am officially a fully bolted on sedan .

I am really happy but sad at the same time, lol, i wish there were a couple more mods i could put on in terms of performance. there is nothing really left out there. Anyways here is a breakdown for all the mods (performance) i have done. It might help any guys who wanna mod their sedans, if you guys have any questions, feel free to ask. I will def help you out.

yea ill do that. Um first, ill get new spark pugs, get a tune, and then start getting some better tires, and get some aesthetic mods. I dont really wana go FI, so i have to be satisfied with staying NA. I still have a long way to go.

i basically used a long golden rod like thing, and put it in between the two hoses that sit underneath the throttle body. everyone should do it this way if you live in socal. If you live in a place tht gets very very cold, i wouldnt suggest doing it. It actually does prevent you from losing HP. Bypassing coolant flow through the TB prevents the air entering the plenum from heat up.

Vivek,

You're far from maxing out.

What about the rest of the UR pulleys? There are 3 or 4 in total IIRC.

Cams?

GT Spec Fender braces?

Big Brake Kit?

1 piece Carbon Fiber Racing seats?

I think gram lights and better tires will also speed you up a lot.

Check out motordynes website, page 7 on this install guidehttp://www.motordyneengineering.com/manual.pdf

You can get just an isothermal upgrade and it will give you the bypass as well as the aramid gasket that goes between engine and plenum.

I take it it keeps the TB cooler during the summer without the coolant going through it then to increase performance.

Vivek, impressive list man But you do have lot's of things to do.

Have you looked at changing your final drive? How about internals? How much more $$ do you really want to bolt on? You need some lightweights wheels, and the full set of UR pulleys...

as Nate said, you'll really notice the gains.

Any stereo mods will be counter-productive as they add crazy weight, I take my subs out for the track, and the spare tire.

I would suggest you gut the interior, and get a roll cage for rigidity. You'll save weight. You can try and make it look sporty, and that could take some work, but hey, as SBD said, you're far from maxing out

See I told you it is well worth. Not sure why people wouldn't do it. Even if you live in cold climate all you have you have to do is install a valve and when it gets cold you just redirect the coolant back to its original flow. Simple cheap and gives you some hp's back. Gain is much better than any intake. I think.

I went to the race track last summer (Sept 08) and I didn't travel up the night before, I just left early in the morning to get there for most of the afternoon.

It was a 4 hour drive, and when I got there, I took a few quick runs in the morning. The engine was super warm from the long drive, and I think if I'd done a coolant bypass mod, my times would've been better.

I hit 14.4 easily the week before, and I did a 5 min drive to the track in the early morning when we left the hotel.

Next week, the best time I had was 14.8 with a considerable amount of driving effort... removed spare tire, sub, etc. I was mad, I wanted to do better, the coolant by-pass mod should curb these losses.
