still need to shorten my driveshaft about an inch, box my lower shock mounts, and fab up an e-brake system.... but i drove it in the rain today and all i can say is SAVAGE

looks good... but those welds on the frame for the coils look............... well let's say if you hit a pothole i wouldn't put money on them holding up for long

overall sick setup though man!

i'll be doing something similar.... SOMEDAY.... lol

well which set of welds the first pic of the uppers was done by someone else i had to cut them off and move them, i used a fat mig welder and braced them what about those welds?

wanted to keep the geometry of the stock shocks basically and figured out that it would give us the most progressive spring rate

today i plated the lower shock mounts and bled the breaks and painted it all again

yea i dont miss it lol.... actually driving this beast out there in two months.

having a shop at my disposal is awesome.


all i need to do is make my parking break and finish the driveshaft, then throw the bed back on :fistpumping:

yea i like welding alot, at first i was using a crappy little harbor freight one then a little better lincoln now a huge miller electric MIG it makes thing so easy being able to throw it on a lift and roll a good welder underneath it
