Guages don't work! =(

sooo... none of my guages worked except the temp and most CEL/seatbelt/etc little lights when i bought my 1990 hatch w/ DOHC swap.

Found out my ecu was for a SOHC.. so swapped that out and now the tach works! It IS a DOHC cluster and the 5 wires from the ecu that are supposed to be run are run correctly.

Recap:Tach works, temp gauge works, if not all then most little indicator lights work,

speedo, gas gauge, and dash lighting does NOT work.(neither does rear defrost if its relevant)

This car has been chopped/cut and rewired, raped and harassed before i got to it. most of it is really crappily done too =(

I'm really hoping there is a common ground that isn't hooked up?!?

If so, where? if not, any other ideas?thanks

I had one, the accessory fuse for the cig. lighter and whatever, but i've replaced that. All other fuses, at least the ones in the driver's kick panel, are all good.

thanks for the advice.. i'll go see if that works....

lol wut nope guages still don't work. hmm guess i'll have to try someone else's advice.. maybe i'll choose someone who actually has helpful things to say.now quit posting stupid responses and go fix it.. and by fix it, i mean drink bleach and don't reproduce.
