SO now that i'm finally running the correct ecu (1990 s13 w/ KA24De swap) my tach works, my temp gauge has always worked too, but my speedo, gas gauge, and dash lights still dont work.

I'm wondering if there is a good reason why these two gauges still don't work? I think my speed sensor is good because i've swapped trannies and speed sensors with them and it didnt work before or after the "new" sensor and transmission. I'm hoping that there is a common ground or something that these gauges share that would keep all of that from working? any ideas on wherei could start to find the problem would be great.thanks

I have a cluster harness and 2 circuit boards for the guages. I'll go look and post what I see.

Have you connected all of your wires to the sub harness in the dash yet?

Check/Follow these colors in the following write up I did.http://www.nicoclub.com/articles.php?id=162443

I'm not sure exactly what you mean... but if you're talking about the 5 wires...Yellow/Red --TachYellow/Green--SpeedometorOrange--Ignition startBlack---GroundBlue/Black---Water temp sensor

then yes, and they all have good continuity.

It's important to mention that i didn't do this swap. it is totally possible that the guy i bought the car from... or the guy before him... etc... has cut something or done something stupid that i have to find and fix lol. considering the transmission harness that WAS in the car, theres no telling whats been done haha.

If you pull apart your glove box and passenger side kick panel, you can see that set of wires running from the drivers side of the car to the pass. side to the ecu.

Check the wires to be sure that they plug into corresponding colors on the ecu side. When it says "yellow/red" I mean that the wire is yellow with a red stripe.
