gauge pods for us poor 'vert owners

You stupid hard top owners had to have auto seat belts :p I'm looking for an a-pillar gauge to fit a convertable a-pillar (which is probably the same as a normal silvia). I have a normal 240 pod, but it won't fit due to it's shape. it's rectangular whereas I need it to be triangular. I'm gonna give autometer a call today and ask if a Miata pod will work or a 300ZX pod, but i was gonna check to see if anyone knew specifically if a different pod would fit.
