Im a owner of a 2000 I30.. and i havin a problem with my gauge lights... the RPM lights are brighter than the MPH gauge .. and suddenly came bright like the MPH light.Some help

Wiring? When they are dim can you smack the cluster to get them brighter? Once they get bright do they go back dim at times or does this only happen when they first turn on?
