gauge cluster?

I recently bought a 1991 240sx coupe with hud. The hud and speedo does not work, so i was just going to buy an analog to go into spot. I know that i have to get harness, but some people on ebay cut harnesses, so can a just cut my harness and splice together. Then if i get a JDM cluster i have to get the different speed sensor, where could i possible get one of these if i did get a JDM. Thanks for any help.

the speed sensor you need is in your existing KA transmission

Don't cut and splice into another harness. Just hit the junkyard for the appropriate subharness..........possibly even the gauge cluster itself. However, my junkywards ran out of clusters a while ago.
