I know, this is another gauge cluster problem but I need to know what my options are to get this fixed. After the shop swapped in a s14 sr20 into my 1990 s13, the tach and speedometer are reading much lower than they should be, as well as the temp. gauge not reading at all. When the car is idling, the tach will read zero, and when I hit the gas, it shows that the car is reving up slower than normal. Also, the speedometer will climb up much slower as well. for eg. I will be doing 100 and it will read 50. Dont worry, the tach is from a DOHC, and I never had the car running before the swap. Should I just replace the whole cluster with a jdm one, or has this happened to anyone else before?

as far as the temp gauge they need to use the temp sending unit from a DOHC so it matches the gauge.

okay, I did get the new jdm gauge cluster, and that fixed the tach problem, and switching the temp sensor from a dohc engine into the sr20 fixed the temp gauge problem, but the speedometer is still not reading what it should be (it reads about half of the speed that I am actually going) Do you think that the speed sensor is doing this?
