1: the stock GTS4 auto trans has a mechanical speedo drive and the R32 GTR gearbox i got seems to be electric. all plugs seem to be different. How do i make this work?
2: is the auto GTS4 transmission crossmember different to the manual one??
3: the GTR clutch master cylinder has a small booster type thing which needs a vacuum source. Would it be wise to tee off the brake booster line? it would be pretty convenient.
1:it's been about 4years but I'm 99% sure the mechanical speedo drive will drop into the GTR trans in place of the electronic one.
2:cross member is different, if your going to drive it hard you'll want to stiffen up that mount anyways so just make one.
3: yes you can t- into that brake booster line but make sure both boosters have working check valves..also that clutch booster is good and bad. good when it works but it has a pretty high failure rate..I would remove it and build or have a spacer built to take up the space the booster did. there are companies that make them but I never seen one below $250!
