GTR Parked at Fridays in Quakertown. The guy was a huge bag.

Ok so last night i went to Fridays for a few drinks. I see this hot GTR pull into the lot and parks right next to a bunch of cars.

I roll into the bar and i throw my arms in the air and say how r u gonna park that car there.

I figured he would talk about the car or have something interesting to say. Well no he didnt.

I then said to him i have an altima coupe and welcome to the family. He just ignored me and continued to talk to his boyfriend.

With a car like that i figured he would be a car guy and wanna talk about it. I guess not. I was so angry....

He probably gets that all the time. I wouldn't wanna talk about my car to every car guy that comes up to me.

You may be right, but it seemed more like - my car cost 80,000 to 150,000 im 2 good to talk to you.

Seriously, he's probably just like, leave me alone dude, I get the fact that I have an awesome car. You and everyone else on earth that knows anything about cars probably walks up to him and drools. I would get pissed off too.

Maybe he didn't want to show off his car or get everyone attention. lol. BTW, I just saw a GTR near Costa Mesa, the taillights are so hilarious and bright. I heard Nissan will come up with a Spec-V version of GTR next year. Cost will be double.

sounds kind of fanboyish dude.... honestly, I would have ignored you too... wrong setting, time, and place! Maybe if you had just commented to him, hey , nice car, he may have acknowledged you, but to do what you did how you did it... sorry dude, just comes across as lame!

Its like being 6'10"... how many people say "wow you are tall" or "are you a basketball player?"

I agree with doc, very fanboyish... im sure if the approach was different he would have had a different response.

If someone walked up to me and said nice car... or check it, if someone walked up to me and said hello I would stop and talk to them.. He was probably an ******* from birth.

Franken.. this i the line im referencing... If someone did this to me at a bar, i would go outside and make sure its still there, not become friends with them... Where I park my car is my business, if someone approached me saying "nice ride" as many people do thats one thing... Ive stopped to have somewhat lengthy discussions with strangers who approach me with a nice demeanor... but saying "how r u gonna park that car there" isnt a friendly welcome its a backhanded compliment.

I totally understand where your coming from, but you have to think what its like to see/hear that from the gtr owners shoes... who knows who hes at the bar with (business associate?)

Some people arent into "talking to strangers"... but i guess us NICO members arent, thats why we are all here!

let me put it to you a different way... you don't know what its like driving a $80K car, and the fact that everyone that compliments you are not your friend...

my car gets looked at all the time when I'm out... I've had a number of dudes size me up while commenteing me on my car at the same time... the pleasantries are a cover for the real questions/decisions going on in some of their minds... I don't trust ANYBODY that comes up to me and tells me nice car... that's a good distraction for his buddy to come and blind side you...

I'm paranoid you say.... maybe, but remember the old adage... "just because you're paranoid doesn't mean somebody isn't out to get you" Expect the unexpected and stay ready so you don't have to get ready... anybody that runs up on my car attempting to car jack will find that out the hard way...

if you wanna drive a nice whip, you better be ready for everything that comes with that! I'm sure the dude in the GTR knows there are haters out there, and maybe he assumes EVERYONE is hater first, and genuine admirer second.. I know I do
