first of all, is the turbo positioned the same on ca as the sr20? if so, would it be possible to run say, a gtir t28 on the ca manifold with the greddy or whoever sr20 elbow pipe(or extension pipe) thats meant for the S13 t25 and bolting on the sr20 downpipe? i ask this because i want to upgrade to a medium size turbo and i already have an HKS sr20 downpipe. any insight will be appreciated. thanks

one bolt hole on the pipe will have to be slotted slightly to bolt up to the back of the GTi-R turbo and you will have to rotate the compressor to a different position. Very doable.

what do you mean by that? is the t28 too small to make 500 horsepower? but what about all my hopes and dreams? (runs away sobbing)

i think your big turbo obsession is an overcompensation for something........j/k

on a ca? i think not. im thinkin of gettin a bb GT28 for power everywhere in the band. tell me what you guys think about this at about 18-20psi. needs to be streetable and spool up is a concern. do the ARs and trims look ok? honest answers and real world power. cut and paste.

HKS makes some monster T28s but with the accompanying pricetags

ya i know. if i could afford hks and not change my mind after 3000 miles, that would be cool. the one above is only 875 though. im thinkin that turbo will do me right. what do you think max efficeint boost would be? spool up rpm?

I have the same one on my wife's 180SX, seat of the pants is about 220hp at 14-15 lbs of boost.

I think the GTiR turbo is a great matchup for the CA, not to big not to small.

And as for your other comment, you need to think in perspective. When you compaire them side by side my turbo was smallish :) lol
