gtir intake manifold question

ok. when your lookin at the gtir intake manifold there are 4 bungs that where open (no hoses too). so i capped all of them off. i was just interested to see what they where for and if i should take the caps off? they where like this when i got the engine and they wernt able to get to with the top mount on and i doubt that the company would have taken the time to pull off anything. just wondering if anyone knows the intake manny for the gitr

The intake manifold on the GTiR has quad throttle bodies.

Were they before or after the throttle bodies?If they were after, then they're probably balance ports and should be connected together.

there were 2 different sets of them. i know one of them is the balance ports.

those are caps that cover the screws to adjust the throttle bodies
