GTI-R T28 or S15T28??

I am building a drift car 89 HB w/redtop my goal is 300whp or more .I was going for a S15 T28 because it spools quick and it is cheap.Is there a better option?$$ is a factor and i dont want to much lag. Is the GTI-R T28 my best bet???

Your question has been answered 6339 times in the last year.

S15 turbo is good for about 300 with some mods like a greddy o2 housing.

GTi-R turbo from what I know is a little bigger but is not ball bearing so the transient response isn't going to be as good.

they both spool at about the same time and make about the same power. buy whatever you can get the cheapest.
