got a gti-r t28 turbo

looking at a gt2835r housing

the gti-r runs a 79 trim and .86 a/r

the gt28 runs a 90 trim and .87 a/r

is this a bolt on affair or is a new wheel going to be needed?

looking to pick up some more info to make a better decision

thanks

Got this info from 2 different sites (one on each).

HKS GT2835R

COMPRESSOR:-Wheel- 56 Trim - 53.1 Inducer / 71.1 Major-Housing- 100 Inlet / 50 Outlet - 0.50 A/RTURBINE:-Wheel- 90 Trim - 56.5 Major / 53.6 Exducer-Housing- GT25 inlet / Outlet spec:Internal GT28 90 Trim; 0.86 A/R

Pulsar GTi-R: T-28

COMPRESSOR:-60 trim 60 mm BCI-1 compressor in standard T-3 housing. TURBINE:-Wheel- 79 trim 53.8mm Inco T-250 turbine wheel .86A/R turbine housing. Journal bearings.

I think it would work...probably laggier tho. I would call a turbo shop and ask them specifically if a 90 trim turbine housing will work with a CHRA (center housing) meant for a 79 trim housing. Im just not sure if the trim is the physical size of the housing or the measurement of the CHRA's diameter as it fits into the housing.

BTW, If you are looking to sell your GTIR turbine housing...let me know.
