IS it good and accurate or not good at all?

I used something similar to it, the Beltronics VectorPro GX1. http://www.autodynamic.com/det...VPGX1

It's a pretty neat, but IMO, the money is better spent elsewhere. With what ever money you decide to spend on it, I would rather take the car to a dyno, then the local drag strip. You'll probably get a more accurate reading.

I wouldn't spend any money on one. Use that money to mod your car and then take it to a 1/4 mile track. The numbers are never accurate

The Gtech Pro is pretty accurate. I've used the original Gtech and the pro, and have compared them to drag times. The original is very accurate *if* you get it leveled. The new gtech has a digital 3 way axis that self levels, so it is nearly dead on every run. If you got the cash, it's a fun tool to play with.

Yea, I have the original one. It's accurate within .2 seconds of 1/4 mile at least. The original ones doesn't account for traction loss.

I have one and I am pleased with it. But I got it free about a year ago when they were giving them away at CostCo for buying a set of BF Goodrich tires.

Looking at their website, they are all Gtech Pro's. It's the "competition" model that is the one with 3 axis automatic zeroing. I believe the competition model is about $400, but it's much more accurate than the original.

if they're selling it for 60 and it retails for 400, something is off or something, cause thats too good to be true

No, the regular one is cheaper. I thought it retailed for like $120, but $60 is not too hard to believe, since it is the older model now.

The NEW model (competition) model is about $400. Both are good, but the new one is just better, and has a lot cooler options. Like for instance, it tells you RPM's by picking up the signal through the cigarette lighter....that's some technology.
