GTA MEET official poll, the time has come.

Seeing how I've been looking forward to this, and being considerate of AJRK being OUT OF COUNTRY, hes finally back next week and its time to set a date.

Unfortunately I am most definately going to my gf's familys cottage july 11th weekend and MAYBE the weekend after, so I would reallly appreciate if you guys were ok with the dates i provide.

Here is the scoop...august 1st is a long weekend, so i know alot of you probably wont want to attend. But my friend will be visiting from windsor, hes got a digital SLR and can take some really nice pictures.

Ive decided to meet somewhere along the waterfront in toronto, august 1st weekend is carabana from what I believe so this would probably be impossible. For now lets pick a date, then well pick place! I think a late afternoon/early evening meet on a saturday is best, with maybe a nice cruise down lakeshore.

EVERYONE IS INVITED! oem, off road, street setup..anyone. I want a nice panoramic pic with a bunch of pathys/q's lined up, and some cruising pics too itd be sweet. Lets get more than THREE people this year.

anyways, apparently asher (AJRK) is going to be able to make it only July 25 or July 4th, but still vote on whats most convenient.

He isnt on here because hes on his iphone or w.e and didnt get a blackberry like a real man.

Reasons why we should ban Asher...he joined a fraternity while in cali, and left his qx4 in canada to rot for the winter. BANNED. LOL jk buddy i miss ya. u bringin the jag back to T.O?

So yeah I managed to get on Nico to cast my vote.... I can do either the 4th or the 25th. I say we do the 4th, and that way we can have another one in August if everyone is game.

PS - The Q did not stay in Canada to "rot", it was pampered all winter and didn't see any salt! PPS - No, probably not bringing the Jag home, too expensive to ship and I don't want to put any more km on it, it's already up to 107K.

I got the QX4 cause one, its 8 years old, and two it was in a HUGE car accident in 2002. The whole back was caved in due to a first gen pathy doing 60MPH rearending us while the drive fell asleep lol.

Im free pretty much whenever, Im not much of a planner lol, leave the lady up to that. I work weekends but only til lunch usually but taking a couple hours off shouldnt be a problem

If anybody needs special consideration like time which has just been discussed just post it here and we will arrange this so we can get the max amount of ppl. Im looking forward to meeting everyone and seeing you guys face to face. AJRK and slickroger are real cool guys too itll be a good time, looking forward to seeing the rides up close and showing off the scars on my Q from the previous owner!! (that arent noticeable in pictures...my trucks fenders look like fueler got a hold of it) LOL

This meet is just for us GTA members, but we could always plan another one for everybody. I just don't think that many of us would drive 5-6 hrs + for a meet.

July 11th is no good for me, I'm in Ottawa that weekend, and Niagara the next one and Tremblant the next ( for the Ferrari Challenge race). no weekend in july except the 4th works.

not giving up hotel sex july 4th weekend. and Not giving up next weekend because i get 3 day weekends once a month when i transition from day shift to afternoon, so i go to windsor to have a blast seeing how im done work at 330 friday, am 45 mins closer to windsor, and dont have to come back till monday when i start work at 330.

plus it results in more gf. next year well be living together so I can guarantee well never meet because were pretty much married. LOL jk
