well ive been doing alot of searching on what turbo's fit the stock rb25det manifold and got to the point where i figured it was a gt3076r internally gated..

then i came across a post with pictures of an int. gated gt3571r on the stock manifold..

can a gt35r fit on the stock manifold... im looking specificly to this turbo becuase im shooting for 450-500whp and dont want to convert to a top mount .

pretty sure you either need a spacer, or you need to notch the turbo/manifold for it to fit.

Well what GT series turbo's do fit the stock manifold? Because I believe a GT3040 or GT3076 would support that kind of power.. I could be wrong though.

You are going to need a spacer. I am using a GT35R on my RB25. If not it won't fit...

From the way they force that wheel into the int gated housing... I wouldn't do it... if anything get the internal gate adapter from http://www.atpturbo.com or something if you wanted to stay internal. I've seen inside one of those and not to impressed in my opinion...

why are you so set on internal gate and stock manifold? i hope its not a budget thing because you are gonna be HURTING trying to do 450whp on a budget.

ive got a top mount manifold that i can bolt the turbo onto .. its just that for now . im using the stock turbo and just spent 240 on the dp. and dont want to do get a custom dp made.. ive seen the headaches with the clearance for a dp and figured it would be easier to use the stock manifold.

the more i look into it . im leaning to just mounting it on my top mount and deal with what comes my way.. i was just sourcing out options.
