do you guys think that a gt35r .64 T3 could spool at or under 4k on a sr22det with a 9:1 compression ratio?

also, what do you think a gt3071r .86 or a gt3076r .64 would spool at?

To be conservative id say 20psi @ 4500-4800rpm. The RB25 sees full boost in the low 4krpm range with the GT35R. From what ive understood, compression ratio doesnt help spool time. Itll give more torque throughout the powerband making for better response.

i am trying to figure out how much the extra .2L will affect the spool time of those 3 turbos.

the only reason the gt35 is being listed as an option is because i found a pretty good deal on one.

well how much can you boost with the stroker kit cuz u gotta figure the gt3071r is good to like 475 hp. Also i heard you cant rev as high with the stroker kit so if the gt35 spools at like 4500 and you can only rev to like 6500 is it worth it? I actually dont know what itl rev to. itll prolly rev higher then 6500 im just saying

Stroker kit is still alright to rev to 7000-7500rpm. The .2L extra will maybe help spool by almost 500rpm. I still say youll hit around 18-20psi around 4500rpm. You should just do it and if you think the car feels doggy during spool up, then add a 50 shot to bump tq alot.

i don't have a stroker kit. I am sleeved and bored for 90mm pistons. I also have tomei solid lifters. my weak link in reving hi right now is my OEM crank pulley. Right now I am just trying to get my car running, but when I get an ATI damper my redline will go from 8K to 9K.

well in that case i would definetly go gt35. you will love the power pulling you all the way to 9 grand, and the little bit that you loose with spooling later will even out with the rpms youve gained with your build and the power you will get.but again it really depends on how much power you want. If your only planning on boosting like 20-24 lbs gt30 is fine, but any higher i would go with the gt30. Plus you gotta good deal on a 35 just get it.

Since you have solid lifters and are gonna be revving high as well, you think the stock accessory pulleys hurt anything? Ive got a ATI Crank Pulley but have stock Water Pump pulley.

cavitation will definitely become an issue when reving that high. I will be getting an underdriven water pulley when I get the ATI damper.
