But HOLY s***, I'm from Inverness too. I didn't think anyone there knew what a 240sx was, let alone a turbo one. haha Have to meet up when I'm back home sometime.
i was planning on making one or buy the Xcessive one.EDT007 wrote:I'm not sure whether this was included in your build or not but I would look into getting a bigger (sheetmetal?) intake manifold. Cams will def. help but if it's not breathing enough you'll still be limited. Just my $.02. Goodluck!
That's to big of a difference in duration...a 264/272 maybe. But not 242...atleast not on the exhaust side if the intake has a 272. That more air in the out...lol.turbo2nr wrote:im on the same bout i have a 62-1 spools up at 4k so i need a cam that benfits up top, i read that the 272 are great up top also anthony turbosx i think his sn is say the 272/272 kills low end but a 242/272 or 272/242 (s13 cam) works really well... i think i may want to try that, got to do more research
240/248 is the right duration for stock. does anyone else have a 35 on stock cams or the 248/248 setup(mine as of now)? do the cams have enough flow at the top?lrb_2000 wrote:I'm running a gt35 with stock s13 cams,.. 240/248, or is it the other way around? Anyways, I see full boost around 3600-3800 rpms... I have an equal length manifold and ported/polished head.. Maybe I should look into some bigger cams..
