So i was in contact with a tech from turbonetics and he suggested that the GT32 was better suited for the KA instead of the praised 50trim t3/t04e i was inquiring about...i've considered the GT35R, but i know very little about the GT32...anyone have an opinion on this? By the way my goal is 350hp with 10-12psi and 500hp with whatever psi it takes...i'm thinking i'll be out of the effeicency range of the 50trim at high boost...not worried about lag, i already got nitrous for that...looking for opinions and suggestions weither it be one of these turbos or another...

I still think a GT32 is on the small side for 350hp at 10-12psi (same with the 50trim t3/t04e). The power you want at that low of boost; expect it to be very peaky. I would either look into a straight T4, possibly even bigger like T66 or something. The only downside for a turbo that big is lag, but since you have n20, doesn't matter to you =)

How about t3/gt40,its basically a gt40 front and a t3 stage 3 rear.

My friend barney put down, 365rwhp at 16psi(93octane)

421 at 21psi(93 octane)

472 at 25psi(c16 race full)

The turbo still had more in it,but ignition started cutting out at 26psi.Full boost came in at around 4,500-5,000 rpms I believe.

built s13 ka block

8:5:1 compression

72lb injectors

no cams,or head work

I'll post the link from Fresh Alloy soon or just search for (barney_240)on FA
