can someone do a realworld turbo comparison between the GT30R and GT35R, dealing with spoolup, max power (at ~pressure?), low boost characteristics, (surge?), and anything else that may be useful. if anyone has a dyno of a car that uses one of the turbos mentioned, or even a compressor map that would be nice. thanks for your time!

When I spoke with the guys from http://www.extremeboost.com, they said that spool would be similar, maybe slightly longer with the 35r, and the 35r would have better top-end power. I'd guess the same would go for the two levels of trim available in the 30r's.

he is talking about the garret GT series turbos. these have their own housings and do not use T series housings or wheels.

ALL the garret GT series turbos are ball bearing.

from what ive seen the GT 35Rs will outdo a T3/T4 hybrid. and the GT30Rs will equal a smaller T3/T4 hybrid. and both will respond much faster with less lag than a hybrid
