what power out put are you looking to make. i also want to go gt30 the route i will be taking is an atp turbo and full race manifold. but as far as engine management do you want to tune or plug in and go.

GT30R is the GT3076R. Go on Fresh Alloy. Theres a ton of people with them. From what ive seen, the GT30R .63 will do about 460whp @ 20psi. GT3071R .63 is about 30whp behind it at the same boost but spools much quicker. The best choice is the GT3071R Twin Scroll. Go on Fresh Alloy and youll see what im talking about.

thanks prodigy that'll influence my decision but where does 3071 and the 3076 hit full boost at. I want to learn how to drift and once in a while i go to the track so im not to worried about the fastest spool in the world but i dont want to lag till 6k either. what engine management should i go with, ecu tune or stand alone. and nani i meant ecu tune by plug in and go.

check out this site http://www.atpturbo.com ...look around at their turbos and then shoot them an email and they will tell you everything you need to know such as spool times between different turbos and such..i talked to them for awhile just throwing them tons of questions and they always email me back with great, lengthy answers and they definately know what they are talking about

Look at my signal. i'm now rebuilding my engine and am going with the GT3076R. same 720cc injectors. they should hold up for my power goals. microtech is a good and easy ems to work with. good bang for the buck

GT3071R .63 makes 20psi by 4200rpm. GT30R .63 makes 20psi by 4500rpm. GT30R is probably gonna be similar to driving with a 2871R .86. 2871R is smaller but they hit boost at the same point but the GT30R makes much more power.

thanks prodigy i think im gonna go with the 30r just b/c i want to go really fast and make lots of power im not 100% drifter but i also dont get off to drag racing i want a good all around car. even though the 3071 spools slightly sooner think i can find little ways to make the 30r spool just as fast but im still thinking of what i want to go with.

Nitrous makes any turbo spool faster. Im debated between a GT35R, T67, or GT4088R with a 50 shot for spool up.

I will bow at your feet if you do a T67. No really. I will.
