I got 8.893 seconds. Am I doing something wrong? I lowered it to the floor, made it stiff as ****, made the front camber 0 and the rear camber -2.5, front toe-in by 1. Left the rest (downforce, etc.) all in default. If I'm doing it correctly, does that mean you need 1889hp to get 8.9 seconds? I can feel flame coming towards me.

Yeah, in order to run 8.9 seconds, you need 1889hp:thinker

Mess with the gears.

I think the transmission is top notch. I reached the red zone in 6th gear in like 7 seconds.

You want positive camber and a softer suspension in the back for a good launch...the launch is everything! Well, that and gearing.

Mmm. It was on auto, so...maybe I'll see if I can change the gearing to manual tomorrow. It's not my game so I don't know much about it. And yeah, how much softer should the rear be?

It doesnt matter if its auto or not. Go to the gearing menu and mess around with it.

The Escudo is the only car in the game that makes that much power.

Try using the green indy car. I got an ~8.2. Soft suspension in rear, stiff in front. No downforce at all. 0 toe/camber. 55mm ride height.

I agree, it is all in the gearing. it took me about 15~30minutes to tune the ratios for the 1/4.

how about 0 camber. You want as much tire on the road as you can get.

Yup. The same place you adjust the suspension. Instead actually going into the suspension part, just go to the right until you see the transmission. There's a couple other goodies. Just check em out.

To launch, get it in manual, hold the ebrake and rev it up and the second you let go of the ebrake it will drop it and give u some tire spin, but you have to learn how to control it.
