GT28RS water and oil feed quetions

if i hook up this turbo do i need to hook the water to it or can it just be oil only, will it mess up with out water, and does anyone have any SS water and oil lines they want to sell or know where i can get some?

Theoretically you can run it without water lines, but it will kill turbo life, and lead to a lot of oil coaking (oil getting baked onto the inside of the turbo), so YES run the water lines. TAKA Motorsports makes a kit for the SR20 that includes oil feed, and water lines, and I believe if you call them (possibley on their website now) you can order a CA>GT28RS specific kit.

From what I've heard, the new ball bearing CHRA's from Garrett that are used in the GT29R(S) need to have the water cooling.

Check out our sponsors for kits, or Taka Motorsports. I believe if you email Taka and tell them you have a CA18 they'll send you the correct adapter.

thanks for your help I emailed them and they have a complete kit to hook me up. 400+ here I come. Hell yeah!!!!!
