I have a GT28RS .86ar that I am putting on my SR. I was wondering what size of oil restrictor I need to use and where do I get it? I am going to use aftermarket braided lines.

Some KA-T guys are using oil restrictors, there was a thread over there recently I believe. Don't know if that helps but I will try to find it.

Thanks 574 that did help. It looks like you need a 1/16 restrictor. It is just a brass or stainless fitting that you can screw in to the turbo inlet then attach the feed line to. Seems pretty simple to me.

Yes.

A simple search would have yielded you the information.

.035 is the restrictor size you need.

ATP TURBO sells the lilttle brass fitting for 12 dollars

EDIT: Took that wacky link out for the gt28r....not sure why I copy pasted that link!!

You can also drop to a -3an oil line and that would do the trick for you as well.

-3 line is nice too, but you should still get the restrictor.

A 3an an is 3/16"

The XX-an , the an is always a 16It's X/16..3/16 = .1875, HUGE for a restrictor.

.035 male/female restrictor....

Find new or used Taka Lines for your specific application....

And again, to quote myself from earlier, just get the fitting from ATP...(oh and Nowhere basically repeated me, so follow his advice as well!)

I think the Taka lines have a restrictor built in but I am not sure.
