I've seen the GT2835R, but no 28R. On the RB20 I've seen them support 420 whp at 2 bar. Both being a 2 liter, should be fairly close with the right cam/fuel/ignition tuning. Look for specs from HKS.

Josh, be very careful.. I think the turbo SCC used was very small..

I dunno about the T28's but there is a difference with the T25s...

There is a GT2540R which is hella small, barely bigger than the stock one...

then there is the GT25R like I am going to get which supports over 400 horsepower and is much larger than a T25 or T28.

I think SCC used a smaller turbo which was practically the same as an S15 turbo..

there is a GT28R which is huge and can support up in the 500 HP range

Don't do it man DON'T DO IT!!! well do whatever you want.. but from my limited INTERNET knowledge and having never driven a turbo car.. but that will change in like a week.. I'd say get a T3/T4 or GT25R!!

the GT25R will smoke that ***** *** S15 turbo.. its DUAL BALL BEARING AND MUCH LARGER!

They are on different playing feilds. Look GT25R yes I looked into this turbo it is also like 800 bucks more than a Pulsar GTI-R turbo.

Lets see if I can't look into this: GT28R, not much known about it maybe 450rwhp with good tuning ($????)GT25R ($1200) is a 420rwhp car with custom ECU tune.Pulsar GTi-R would be good to about 320rwhp if you have cams, and a few other parts to make it all work at the same level. (400 bucks)THe S15 BB turbo (800) is actually smaller than the Pulsar turbo and is good to about 300rwhp if you are good. Yes it is BB, but it does not affect starting boost, since they are both under load, but rather moving boost

Example: From a start both boost at basicly the same rate, not enough to make a differance. However if they both start from a rolling start in say 5th gear, the BB turbo will spool faster.

I am personally going with the pulsar turbo, me, being a drift most the time, can't hae the lag assicated with anything larger than a T28. If you want to go balls out 500rwhp go with a GT30, there is a large *** turbo.

get a GT25R and you won't regret it, that's all there is to talk about on this subject if you want somthing that will fit the stock flange.

whatever tai mai make that call then... but like you said WITH CAMS!Cams are at a MINIMUM (hks) 200 a PIECE and then you have to have the gear!! (300)

Maybe u could have the stock ones reginded, maybe u have a hook up... you combine that with buying the Pulsar turbo.. and you've STILL spent as much as the GT25R and now you still make less power and do not have the option of "adding cams" to make more power.

From what I've been able to tell, the GT25R is the best bet. Paul just put one on his 240 and he clocked close to 400 whp if I remember correctly

somebody has got to stick up for the S15 turbo so i guess ill do it :pface

s15 t28:good stuff= $850 new, dual ball bearing, stock location, stock turbo extention fits, stock oil hard lines fit, spools like a motha ****er, can hit about 300whp with good tuning, great for daily drivingBad stuff= Internal wastegate, small, not too great for people looking for tons of power.

yea i know i wont but ive got only 700 bucks right now and my friend in japan is sending me a s15 turbo with s15 injectors for 450 shipped so that means all i need is z32 maf and SAFC:D

once i start making more money i will get the gt25r. i know jay got it and LOVES it. if i had the 1,200 just for the turbo id get it right now but i dont so i guess i have to take what i can get. plus i dont want ALOT of power right now ill take 300hp and be happy with it.

I dont know where you get your cams and stuffs, but I get it a hella lot cheaper than that...264/264 stage one was a fine setup for me. No Cam gears are needed unless you like to extract every last HP outta the cams, For non dyno queens or, 500+hp SR's CAms with stock Cam gears work perfect. I saw a SR with slightly upgraded compressor wheel, with cams do 230rwhp on 7psi of boost, that is what some people are making on 14lbs with no cams to give you an idea.
