hey guys im doing this for a friend i looked but didnt find a straight answer.. my friend has a similar 240 to mine he has a megan manifold and a stock t25 turbo.. he just wanted to know if this turbo would replace the stock one... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...36644

It'll fit but I wouldnt cheap out and get a ebay turbo...like they say...you get what you pay for.

oh cool man thanks.. i dont think hes getting an ebay one but thats the first one i found lol... do u know if theres any fuel mods that need to be done? like injectors? or just throw it in there and go? thanks bro

You will need fuel "mods" when you turn up the boost.

i have a gt2876r. mine was no near the 300 price range tho.. i paid like 1,100 for mine. im running 740cc injector for fuel

ok well if he was to keep it 14 15 pounds .. i just wanted to know just so he dosent blow his motor or anything.. and if it would need a tune.. thanks

It's not a simple as you think it is. Even just keeping the boost at a low setting! You NEED:Supporting injectors, Intercooler, ECU tune, Exhaust mani for your new turbo.... Couple other small things too. I had to butt in seeing this thread was making it seem like you just slap a turbo in and your good to go. However with those items matched up with the turbo of choice is the goal in mind. AND- Don't buy an ebay turbo!

true true true. I mean you asked about running 14 psi. yes that would be fine if you have the supporting mods listed above. i personally run 19 pounds for my high setting and have the waste gate set for 13 for my low. but i have what mrsoutherland said and then some so....

The only thing i would buy off eBay that is somewhat performance related is the exhaust. I don't think its smart to buy something like a turbo off ebay....But oh well what does my opinion matter
