gt2871r trouble clocking and wastegate lever reaching

I'm having a difficult time with my gt2871r turbo. when I clock the compressor housing so everything lines up the wastegate lever is bent to far to reach. It has the disco potato compressor housing with the adapter plates and the stock air inlet still won't clear manifold because the wastegate rod is to short and at the wrong angle to reach the flapper lever. Anyone ever had this problem.
