I have a brand new 2871R and a guy on here wants to trade me for his brand new 3076R. Im not into drifting the car I just like to get on it every now and then. Should I go with the 3076R? Anyone have experience with either turbo and could give me some insight. Thanks

Honestly, the only way I'd get a 3076r is if it was a T3 flange for a top mount manifold. They're just too laggy on a stock SR T2 manifold or aftermarket bottom mount T2 exhaust manifold for my taste. Then, you have to buy a new manifold, re-tune, and may need larger injectors (depending on what you have now). So, it kinda depends on your budget but, if you can afford it, then go for it.

I just saw that you're in Hanover. I used to live off of Arundel Mills Blvd. haha, small world.

GT3076R with T2 Turbine Housing is way too restrictive for the compressor size i think. Go with 2871R untill you can afford to go Top Mount and move up to the T3 Housings.

no stay with what you have. you will have alot more turbo lag and your chassis is not meant for that much power in stock form

i'd keep the GT2871R. I'm only about 20 min away from hanover, we could meet up one day and you can see what a comparable turbo to the 2871 with a top mount manifold can do
