I seem to remember a place that had a core exchange for like 400 bucks or so, does anyone remember where?

When I am at work on Wednesday I will look at the price. We are part of the cartridge exchange program.

Hey, I can't do $400 :|

The 2871R center cartridge comes in two variants, standard type and SR bolt-in replacement type (part numbers 446179-32 and 446179-67 respectively). We would need the part number of the center cartridge to be 100% certain which you have.

Our price is $600 + $250 refundable core charge. These are in stock in Orlando and could be shipped out same day. And you could send us the cartridge in advance and not pay the core if you wanted to do that. Sorry about it not being $400 :| I actually have an email into another shop to see what their price would be lol (if they are cheaper, I will forward it onto you).

Thanks for the info and your help I found one of the forum's sponsors could do $545. I also found a guy that worked and designed for garrett. He said he knows all about the gt chra stuff and he can rebuild it for me, even if everyone else says they can't. I'm pretty sure its just my seal that is shot.

If your friend doesn't work...

The other shop I contacted was ATP Turbo and they replied this:Quote »HI Matthew, Cost is $466.30. If you would like to participate in this program let us know so we can issue you a service number prior to sending it in. Thanks! [/quote]Which is a pretty stellar price, considering that is a good $60 below my cost. I guess I am going to have to go talk to my Garrett rep

Wow thanks again for the info I tried calling ATP several times and couldn't get in touch with anybody. I prefer to talk to people instead of doing the email thing.
