hey guys, Im wondering if the gt2871 will flow enough for the KA, I know its a gt28 foot print and all, but all im looking for is quick responsive turbo that wont really choke off at hiogher rpms, im gonna get some cams, when I decide on which ones. I know its not gonna make enormungus power numbers, but I want simple, reliable, and fun thats it

its not really worth it if youre paying 700-800 bux for it because its stilll small...spools quick though.. well i have one in mine and i like it but i kinda wish i bought a 2540 instead though..most people would say t3/4 is a better choice..

Small? in the larger A/R they push over 400whp.

The GT2871R has a 71mm compressor wheel, that is plenty large.

The GT2540R Garrett has a smaller wheel just in a larger housing... same wheel in the GT28RS. There is little reason why you couldn't put the TO4S housing on the GT2871R and see mid 400's.
