Allright here is what I have to offer you.In an effort to obtain a turbo for the Nico Time Attack S13 that Sean (MagicDragon) is building, I called up my man at Garrett and asked him how cheaply I can obtain NEW GT28 turbos. Basiclly heres what I can do, if I order between 4 and 10 I can get them shipped to your door for $950.If I order 10 to 15 I can do it for $900. It keeps getting cheaper from there but I doubt we'll get into that range. So, these are BRAND NEW Garrett GT28's in your choice of trim. Look around, you won't find them at this price anywhere else.So if you need a turbo now or in the near future please consider getting in on this deal. I'll be placing the order to Garrett on the 16th and you should have turbos within a week from that date. Please get in touch with me by email: [email protected]: RMTDRJoe

Thanks!Joe

No offense, but this doesn't really seem like a deal. I got my S15 T28 (gt28r) for $695 shipped to my door. Not to mention many other places who are $50-100 cheaper at their everyday prices. Not trying to dog your GB, but maybe you should look for a different distributor.

These people must have some wicked sweet connections. We would lose our dealership if we sold them any cheaper than $950 and Garrett heard about it.

if it was a GT2871R and he got it for 800 than your friend did better than us, those are like $1100 turbos.

Dieselman are you sure these are GT28R aka (GT2560R)

not a GT28RS or GT2871R (Some GT2871R look exactly like the S15 GT28R)

As for my turbo for $625 it was a 1 time thing and was lucky to come across it. Plus this was like a yr and a half ago.

Also one of Nicos sponsors sells it for $795

$950 is way too much for that level of performance imo.In perspective an evoIII 16g costs $500 brand new complete and will pi55 all over a gt28r.... dunno why garret acts like their gold.Only thing going for the gt is 'bolt-on' convenience. But then boost_boy offered the CA18 group a fine alternative for half that price. So you see there are other 'deals'.

Ok just to clarify, these are either a GT2871R or GT2876R. I do apologize that I'm not better versed in the differences of these turbos. I do diesel's, so I'm pretty new to the little turbos that ya'll use

You guys know allot more about the specs of these things and how they relate on your engines. I know parts books. Ask me your questions and I'll get the answers from my Garrett rep.Sorry about the confusionJoe
