My problem/dillema is that my garrett gt25r turbo exhaust housing is too big to fit when I use my new top mount manifold. Btw my engine is a s13 blacktop and the car is a 91 240sx. I have been told that I need a exhaust housing specifically for an external wastegate since the manifold has an external wastegate flange . The thing is that my research has led my to the conclusion that there isnt one. Any suggestions on how I can make this work?

I think people just weld the internal wastegate flapper shut in the turbine housing.

yeah they do my friend did that to his 20G eclipse, just weld the wastegate flapper shut. and get a flange for the turbo and have the Turbo elbow made.
