Alright guys, I want to know what you guys think about this turbo. I am looking for something to replace the stock T25 (Seals are going out) but I dont want to deal with changing to bigger injectors, bigger mafs, and ecu reprogram yet. I just want something that is better than the T25, is pretty much bolt on, and doesnt require me upgrading much else. Things that are important to me are high responce and quick spool though. I dont expect this turbo to have a huge power gain but I would like it to support about 220hp.

Tell me what you guys think, thanks.

A T25g could do the same job but im looking for a brand new turbo. Thus rather spend $200 more for a garrett gt-r series.

As for the T28, I thought about going with a GT28R cause its the same price and has more potential in the power area but im not sure. Im trying to go for more responce and spool than power. Another thing is I dont even plan to push out more than 220hp any time soon due to the fact this car is pretty much only pushed hard on the touge where a good low/mid range w/ smoth power band is key.

Keep the comments coming, I want to hear more

ive got a gt28r and i dont see it as massive in comparison to the t25. my friend made me a map for it and it should be at full boost around 34-3600rpm. not too shabby if i do say so myself. i would go with the gt28r for the price.

the GT25R will work just fine for 220hp, so will a SR T28, even a S14 T28 will work just fine.

no matter what you get, you'll need to replace the O2 pipe, why not get a SR T28, O2 pipe, and front-pipe

or better yet, get a rebuild kit.

or just get any turbo you want and use a hks pfc fcon with the vpc. they run next to nothing these days.
