I was told that the GT2530 is more eggressive that the T28, and T28 ball bearing. Is this infor ture, and if it is , is the GT2530 is a direct fit , I am looking to upgrade my t25 into a t28 ball bearing, or something bigger, which has to be a direct fit, or very minimal changes (example , oil lines and coolant lines). I have a rebuilt t25 with zero milage on it, I am willing it to trade it for some thing bigger and pay any reasonable difference . Just to remind you, that my engine is a ca18det front wheel drive, I have it installed on a nissan pulsar. so I am pretty sure that the down pipe on the fwd is different from Rwd,

Thank you,

Rafi

The GT2530 is as follows: 63 Trim in T04B Housing Compressor, 76 trim in .64 A/R Turbine.

The S14 T28 is as follows: 60 Trim in T04B Housing Compressor, 62 trim in .64 A/R Turbine.

They're both similar, but the GT2530 is a bit more aggressive, allowing for a fairly significant amount of top end. As far as upgrading, it would probably be less expensive to buy a T28 if thats what your going for. I don't know what your goals are though, enjoy your day and hopefully that was helpful, let me know if I can clarify a bit more. : )

Thanks for the info,

Do you know where to I can get a bigger direct fit turbo for a reasonable price.

Thanks again,

To my knowledge, the GT2530 is the biggest direct fit there is, the only upgrade you could get woudl be if you managed to convince someone to build you a turbo with a GT2530 spec, but with a .86 A/R Turbine as that would open the top end up a bit.

I have another stock T25 turbo that the seals are blown, can they covert it into GT2530, and if so what are the parts that they would replace or upgrade.

thank you,

Rafi
