GT Spec 4 point mid brace

Hello Fellas i just have a question or inquiry amongst those of you who have installed the GT Spec 4 point mid brace. I've had it on the car for about 3 months now and i've noticed sort of like a vibration coming from underneath my seat (thats where the brace goes). It makes me think that it is the mid brace causing this, but i'm not sure. So the questions is, has anyone else experienced this? It's not a continuous vibration, it's just some times when shifting gears or the road is a little bumpy. I've checked the brace and it is as tight as it can be. Also, the vibrations did not start as soon as i installed the brace, it was maybe 2 months afterwards. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thank you all,Jon

Have you changed anything else on your car in that period of time?

A stiffer chassis might cause a little extra vibration but you should have noticed that from day 1.

no nothing else, i guess i will take the brace off and see if the vibration persists. Other than that, the car drives like it's supposed to, i'll let you guys know.

Ya, do that and report your findings..

YUP, the clearance between the brace and the exhaust is less than a quarter of an inch so the brace was rubbing against the exhaust causing the vibration. So just wrapped the brace with some heat wrap and that did it.
