Wonder if Nissan's aware?

Can't imagine Edmunds having anyone who can drive well enough to wring anything respectable out of it, even if they are flogging a brand new $80K car.

They're the Consumer Reports of the automotive world.

No Nissan did not know about it.

He didn't do too bad but his reaction time was either hidious or intentional at 6.6+ but from actual launch he didn't do to bad.

Here's a link to the time slips posted by the driver of the evo that went up against him.http://www.norcalevo.net/index...083.0NOTE: you do not need to sign in, just scroll down.

Be aware this was on street drag night were you just get in line and race who ever rolls up next to you at the line when its your turn. You can't pick who to race.

Edmunds.com was invited by Nissan to take part in an early test drive of the GT-R awhile back at their test facility in Japan. After the track days with officials they got a privately owned stock GT-R JDM spec and tested it outside Tokyo. On a dusty airstrip they got 3.3 0-60 and 11.6 for ¼ mile at 120.9. 104 feet for 60-0. Not bad for a four seater……They ran Miller in Utah yesterday. Took video not sure what track configuration. Damm that car need a car wash bad!P.S. Yes Nissan knows

Although I am sure certian areas of NNA knows about it. The regional office here in the northwest region did not know this car was going to run at Sacramento or that the car was even here. I know this because thursday afternoon I was at the regional office and an employee there told me about the race[how I found out about it] and expressed the joint office employees frustration with not being aware of it before hand.
