I'm not one to totally ignore rumors from nissan anymore, especially when early word of the murano cabrio was underway.

We're thinking about getting rid of the Xterra and picking up Juke, I'd be all over this thing.

I like it if it makes it to production. Let's make it happen, Nissan!

I would buy this...if they remove the front spoiler on the roof...

First time I saw a Juke in person I wanted one but I also wanted to put a 108 inch CB whip on it and get a giant balloon shaped like a remote control to attach to the back (ala life-sized RC car)

They should call it the Nissan Mayan (since "Aztek" was already taken).

Nissan might release this car, but I doubt it'll have anywhere near its rumored output. I doubt it'll come to the US either.

It will most likely be a one-off if it's anything. This would be something you may see at the Tokyo Auto Salon or the Tokyo Motor show, simply for the "whoa" factor.

There isn't a front spoiler on the roof. It's a split rear spoiler for the back. It's in the article.

Ahh, yes I see that now. Misread the article and the image (on a quick glance) makes the passenger half look like it is about mid roofline

^^^Bad depth perception? :poke:

I suppose this car doesn't really need over 400hp to be considered Pulsar GTI-R successor. Lowering it ALOT goes a long way towards hiding some of it's ugly...

I am racking my brain trying to think of wtf cartoon alien I've seen that this car looks like...

Really? I like IT!! My wifes co worker has a Juke its a cool car!

I don't know who would be a target market for a GTR Juke? There should however be a market for a Performance Juke that is under 40k with some luxury appointments.

UGGH! I remember that Juke  Looked like a combination of Ed Hardys generic tattoo clothing line and vomit faces. Still the Juke was free for him, I'd be stripping off that vinyl the 1st day I had it. But the question is would it look any better?

Lowering/ground fx does make the juke look slightly more appealing.

Hideous car is still hideous. I'm all for innovative design, but lately Nissan has been putting out cars that make me think their design team was picked from a class of 6 year olds.

I think they did all right. And as of now, there are two being built with a GT-R drivetrain. One LHD, one RHD, and both will be completely street-legal. No word yet as of a production model.

It's a bit "over the top", but that's what it's supposed to be, right?

If they use it to gauge the "sport Juke" interest, and then act correctly on that feedback, I think they'd have an interesting product. Much more so than the Murano Cabrio.

I like it.
